School Management System: A school management system is a
large database system which can be used for managing school’s daily work. It is
configurable and can be configured to meet most individual school’s needs. It
is a multi-user system.
My School is a complete school information management
solution. Today's schools need to manage more information than ever before.
Without a solid internal infrastructure for teachers, headmasters and
departments to share data, critical school and student information can be lost,
or worse leading to a host of problems that can effect of a school's image and
endurance. To remain competitive, school needs a simple solution that can run
individual function, connect their entire operation, use the web as a key
communication tool and simplify day to day operational responsibilities, giving
staff more time with students. School management project automates various scheduling activities of
school and optimizes the use of premium resources. Concerned authorities can
now easily and seamlessly use the system to create timetables, otherwise a time
consuming and tedious task.
Technologies used in school management project
HTML: Is the standard markup language used to create web
pages. Web browsers can read HTML files and render them into visible or audible
web pages. HTML elements form the building blocks of all websites. HTML allows
images and objects to be embedded and can be used to create interactive forms.
It provides a means to create structured documents by denoting structural
semantics for text such as headings, paragraphs, lists, links, quotes and other
items.
CSS: Is a Web page derived from multiple sources with a
defined order of precedence where the definitions of any style element
conflict. The Cascading Style Sheet, level 1recommendation from the World Wide
Web Consortium (W3C), which is implemented in the latest versions of the
Netscape and Microsoft Web browsers, specifies the possible style sheets or
statements that may determine how a given element is presented in a Web page.
And describes how HTML elements are to be displayed on screen, paper, or in

PHP: Is an open source server-side language which is used
for creating dynamic web pages. It can be embedded into HTML. PHP is usually
used in conjunction with a MySQL database on Linux/UNIX web servers. It is
probably the most popular scripting language. And it is a widely-used
general-purpose scripting language and interpreter that is freely available. A

MySQL Database: MySQL is the world's most popular open
source database. With its proven performance, reliability and ease-of-use,
MySQL has become the leading database choice for web-based applications, used
by high profile web properties including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Yahoo! and

Friends, I have brought for you a simple school management
project, in which you can delete the Route Insert Update of Student Teacher
Teaching Staff Non Teaching Staff Bus Bus very easily, as well as PDF or print
out the list of all these very easily!
Friends, how many teachers are there in the dashboard, this
show is doing, how many total students are doing this show, how much is the
total non-teaching staff doing this show and how much other staff is doing this
show!
After the dashboard, the class is being shown in the side
bar, as soon as the class is clicked, the list of class and class fees will
open, as well as edit it or add a new class and its fee!
After that, in the side bar, as soon as you click on the
student, the list of students will open, from there we can add the new student
or edit or delete the old student's data update at all!
After that, as soon as we click on the teaching staff, the
entire list of teaching staff will be opened, which we can edit, update, as
well as print the teaching staff list or add a new teacher.After that
non-teaching staff in the side bar (librarian became computer operator or
office assistant in non-teaching) as soon as I click here the list of
non-teaching staff opens, print PDF of this list can be taken out as well as it
Updates can delete or insert new data.
After this, if you click on the new bus in the side, then
the list of bus number and bus driver will be showing, we can delete the update
as well as give print or insert new data.
- Disadvantages:
SchoolTool is a great starting software for smaller schools,
but it isn’t an allinclusive piece of software. For example, schools will have
to find other applications to do human resources, reporting, and financial
management. School Tool is far more a tool for teachers than it is for
headmasters.
Steps for setup
1 download the project
2 download xampp server and install on your pc
xampp link https://www.apachefriends.org/download.html
3 now open c drive open the xampp folder ,again open htdocs folde and put the project
4 now right click and Extract project
5 now go to browser and give url localhost/phpmyadmin
6 now create new database and import databse
Conclusion
We
have identified the concepts of our system and the technologies that have been
used with school management project. Also the related systems and their
advantages and disadvantages , and a comparison between our system and the
other systems.
